Idle Church of England Primary School

Cultural Capital

Our cultural capital offer is designed to broaden horizons, raise aspirations and provide memorable experiences that enrich learning. Through visits, visitors, fieldwork and immersive experiences, pupils develop an understanding of their local community, British heritage and the wider world, enabling them to become confident, knowledgeable and culturally aware citizens.

Our curriculum is enriched through a carefully planned programme of trips, workshops, visitors and immersion experiences that provide pupils with opportunities beyond the classroom. These experiences help children develop the knowledge, skills and cultural awareness needed to become active and informed citizens.

Aspirations

Enrichment

Every year group participates in:

  • At least one educational visit

These opportunities bring learning to life and ensure that all pupils, regardless of background, have access to rich experiences that enhance their understanding of the world.
