Year Three is an exciting and important year as your child begins their Key Stage Two journey. Building on the knowledge, skills and confidence developed in Key Stage One, children will be encouraged to become increasingly independent learners while embracing new challenges and opportunities.

Throughout the year, pupils will explore a range of engaging and creative topics that inspire curiosity and a love of learning. They will deepen their understanding across the curriculum, develop their critical thinking skills and learn how to apply their knowledge in meaningful ways. As expectations increase, we continue to provide a supportive, stimulating and enjoyable learning environment where children feel confident to take risks, ask questions and celebrate their achievements.

In Year Three, we recognise that every child is unique and progresses at their own pace. We nurture resilience, perseverance and a growth mindset, helping children to take ownership of their learning and become confident, responsible members of our school community. We look forward to watching them grow in confidence, develop new skills and reach their full potential throughout the year.
